Get creative, have fun and learn a new skill by coming along to one of my popular chunky wool blanket arm knitting workshops. 

You will knit your very own chunky knit blanket from 2kg of 100% pure unspun merino wool to take home - perfect as a statement piece on your sofa, chair or bed. The final blanket will be approximately 30” x 50” in size.

Just choose your workshop date from the drop-down list and then select your chosen colour of wool to use during the workshop - take a look through the images to find your favourite colour!

No knitting experience or needles necessary! I will teach you step-by-step how to arm knit your own blanket.

Please book your place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment - there are limited places with only 6 people in each class.

Please wear short sleeves to keep your arms free for knitting and remove any jewellery so it doesn't snag.

There will be refreshments and teas and coffees available to buy at the location.

Care Instructions

All products are made from 100% pure merino wool, please hand wash in luke warm water and dry flat.

Lots of fun

I really enjoyed this workshop. Ally was lovely. A very patient teacher and explained how to do it in simple terms. We could all work at our own pace. A lovely bunch of ladies. The blanket is beautiful and I will certainly be making another with wool bought from Ally.

Fantastic workshop!!

I attended one of the workshops at longridge cricket club, I felt a little anxious as can’t knit at all.
The class wasn’t too big so you got plenty of one on one support from Alison. Everything about the wool was clearly explained as were the instructions for the knit itself.
I had such a great morning, meeting others and having such a laugh and getting the most beautiful throw at the end of the session.
I am definitely going to purchase some wool to make a blanket for my baby grandson once he arrives as a comfy floor play mat.
I am also really looking forward to booking the next workshop Alibobknits organised.

She was so patient with us explaining how to knit with our arms and I absolutely love my new blanket -now all my friends want to learn this new skill - I would really recommend it!
