a quick guide on how to arm knit

  • Unroll your wool

    Make sure that you have enough length on the wool so that you don't have to tug it to knit.

  • Remove jewellery

    No jewellery or watches as a ring can snag the wool.

  • Have your arms free

    Wear a top that you can easily push your sleeves up – your arms are literally your needles!

    Need to step away?

    If you need to stop arm-knitting at any point you can use wooden spoons so you don't loose your place!
