Get creative, have fun and learn a new skill by coming along to one of my popular chunky wool blanket arm knitting workshops. 

You will knit your very own chunky knit blanket from 2kg of 100% pure unspun merino wool to take home - perfect as a statement piece on your sofa, chair or bed. The final blanket will be approximately 30” x 50” in size.

Just choose your workshop date from the drop-down list and then select your chosen colour of wool to use during the workshop - take a look through the images to find your favourite colour!

No knitting experience or needles necessary! I will teach you step-by-step how to arm knit your own blanket.

Please book your place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment - there are limited places with only 8 people in each class. 

Please wear short sleeves to keep your arms free for knitting and remove any jewelry so it doesn't snag.

There will be refreshments available.

Situated just 10 miles from Windermere and Kendal on the south edge of the lake district. Hare Hill Barn is an inspirational space built out of a historic lakeland barn with stunning views. 

Directions to Hare Hill Barn from High Newton:

After passing the sign announcing High Newton, turn off next to the bus shelter. Go straight on up the hill (leaving the pub, Heft, on your right) At the top of the hill, keep left at the junction, and follow the fell road for approx 1 mile. The road will then drop down between 3 houses. After the 3rd house, a bungalow on the left called Heightside, take the next farm gate on the left (appox. 15yds after Heightside)= there is a sign above the wall for Hare Hill Barn - you will see barns ahead of you along the drive, there is parking just before the Barn but if this is full please continue into the farmyard where there is extra parking. When you leave, please turn in the yard rather than on the drive.

 

Care Instructions

All products are made from 100% pure merino wool, please hand wash in luke warm water and dry flat.
